An off-leash dog caused a herd of elk to stampede onto Trailside Elementary's playground Monday morning while more than 500 children were at play. KPCW’s Melissa Allison has more.

After the Park City City Council realized it did not follow state code on filling a midterm council seat (the code stipulates that all meetings – including deliberations – must be open to the public) it worked to rectify the issue quickly. However, the council did not release audio from the illegally held closed-door deliberations. Melissa Allison tells us why KPCW has sent a request for that audio:

People gathered in Eden, Utah recently to enjoy music, art, and the main attraction, hot air balloons.

A Pentagon report released this week finds the latest F-35B aircraft may not be ready to replace outdated Marine Corps Aircraft.  Findings that the aircraft testing fell short comes just as air force officials in Utah are preparing for additional aircraft to arrive.​
